Timber frame construction with Walls and Roof of Structural Insulated (SIP) Panels combine the longevity and warmth of traditional post-and-beam construction with modern SIP building technology to result in what the client was seeking - in energy efficiency with traditional looks.

Our role was to seek out and express the qualities of these materials presented. Using Solar Passive Principles to orient the site and placements of rooms and windows to bring out the best of these materials as an expression both on the interior and exterior.
